Oct 10, 2021

Discover Our Top Fall Calendar Events at The Cliffs

As bright orange and crimson leaves begin to carpet the mountain tops and the warm smell of apple cider and pumpkin spice fills the air, the spirit of autumn begins to take hold. And there are few places more spectacular to spend the fall season than in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. So, mark your calendars and come celebrate the season with fall events at The Cliffs!

Here are a few of the most festive fall events held within our private luxury community for our members in the Carolinas.

1. Oktoberfest –– October 3 & 14

While originally a marriage ceremony that took place in Munich in the 1800s, today, we celebrate Oktoberfest as a way to connect with German culture and craft beer. Join us for local beers, live music, and authentic German dishes, such as roast chicken, classic Bavarian sausages, and soft pretzels prepared by our celebrated culinary team

At The Cliffs, we host two Oktoberfest Celebrations –– for double the fun! The first is held on October 3 at The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards and the other is on October 14 at The Cliffs Valley.

2. Oyster Roast ––  October 21

As the temperature dips and outdoor festivities kick off, come get a taste of fall flavor at this years’ Oyster Roast at The Cliffs at Mountain Park. Whether fried, baked, raw, or in a stew, there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy Chef Kevin’s oyster dishes. Join us for great food, great mountain views, and live music.

3. Farm to Table Dinner –– October 27

Gather around the dinner table for a fresh farm-to-table dining experience hosted by our exceptional chefs. Using high-quality, local ingredients and seasonal produce, our chefs will bring you the simple pleasures of fresh dining as a dinner guest. You will have the opportunity to enjoy new dishes not offered on the traditional seasonal menus at The Cliffs’ venues. This event will be hosted at The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards’ clubhouse. Please note: Reservations should be made as early as possible.
