1. Location

One of the many perks of life in Upstate South Carolina is that it is well-connected to the surrounding states. From here, you’re just a few hours away from the East Coast and its many beaches, Asheville, NC and other quaint mountain towns, and the Blue Ridge Mountains

Greenville, SC is also halfway between two of the South’s urban hubs: Charlotte and Atlanta. This alone opens the door to a world of possibilities!

The Greenville County Museum of Art contains works by Southern artists spanning several centuries, while the Carolina Music Museum showcases the rich musical history and traditions of the Carolinas. 

Located right in the heart of downtown Greenville is the Peace Center. With an ample concert hall, theater, amphitheater, and a variety of indoor and outdoor meeting, rehearsal, and event spaces, world-class artists and performers consider this venue one of their favorite places to perform.

7. Sports and Outdoor Activities

Welcomed to the city in 2018, the Greenville Triumph Soccer Club is a member of the United States League, the largest and fastest-growing professional soccer organization in North America. 

Greenville, SC is also just a short drive from endless miles of hiking and mountain biking trails to explore the area. A local favorite is the Swamp Rabbit Trail which is 22-miles long, perfect for both walking and cycling along the Reedy River. Nearby, there are also other rivers and lakes where you can go fishing, swimming or kayaking. Not to mention the number of scenic mountain golf courses throughout the area!
